In May this year (2019) I had the privilege to return to the Ballymagarvey Village venue. This place is definitely one of my favourite wedding venues in Ireland with so many stunning locations for couple portraits on a wedding day. During the summer months the reeds by the water can be the perfect spot for couples. There is a natural ‘photo-opportunistic’ walkway within the centre of the grounds that has gorgeous trees, greens and old stone backdrops. The front of the manor itself looks super all year round.
To date I’ve photographed weddings at the Ballymagravey Village venue on New Year’s Eve, Autumn and the summer months. The wedding venue was in full bloom when I captured Jennifer & Colm’s summer wedding last May 2019. However its not just the outdoors of Ballymagarvey Village that shine. The interior of the manor and wedding reception room have true class and for this wedding Joeanna Caffrey (www.joeannacaffrey.ie) did such a superb job styling the venue. Joeanna provided flowers for all the arrangements as well as the bride’s and bridesmaid’s bouquets. The theme of this gorgeous wedding was most certainly white flowers and floral arrangements. From the bouquets created with white peony roses to the table settings which were made up of white peony roses, cream avalanche roses, cream spray roses, white hydrangea, white blossom, white stocks and mixed greens.
If you are looking for a location that’s close to Dublin yet completely secluded, the Ballymagarvey Village venue is the perfect choice. The venue has a church nearby and also offers facilities for onsite civil ceremonies which I’d highly recommend. And if you are looking for your perfect day to be captured creatively and beautifully, I am the photographer you’ve been looking for ;). Images include the Ballymagarvey Village suite for Bridal Prep, the gorgeous scenery that the venue boasts and of course their stunning reception room.
